Open/Close Menu Making Disciples of All Nations

On the month of April, teens are usually on a one month break from school and they get to do several activities. Teens from the Western Block got a rare opportunity to visit juvenile inmates at the Kamiti Prison, Kiambu County Kenya on the 29th of April.

The teens, teen mentors and parents had an interactive session with some of the inmates and they got to share some encouraging words from the Bible with them. They all had a great time and thank God for the opportunity to participate in this kind of service.

Goerge Nyawade on a facebook post states, “…My heart goes out to the juvenile inmates, aged between 12 and 16 years old, majority incarcerated for possessing marijuana (Bangi)! Some have been in remand for over a year for crimes that would ordinarily attract a maximum sentence of 4 months! Appreciate work done by the wardens under very difficult conditions.”
