Open/Close Menu Making Disciples of All Nations

A revamp of youth camp in the Nairobi christian church saw an incredible attendance of 157 campers including some parents. We have had special presence from Jeff and Jenifer Roraburg together with other swamp corps for both 2016 and 2015 camp.

Amos and Kiki (Teen Leaders) commenced the camp under the guidance of experienced camp directors Jeff and Jenifer. It was also special to see our very own Esther and Joshua who were learning under Jesse and Ellese.

The arrival: Nothing is more mind boggling than a surprise of motionless bodies at a new venue, such was the reception of campers during the camp.

The Food: We were entreated to heavy smoke for the kitchen with  heavy and sumptuous meals as core interest of many teens.

The Fellowship: The developing friendships and biblical conviction led to seamless chaos during and after camp.

Other highlights included: celebration of a birthday, attendance of 10 and 11 year old preteens, the devotional times and the last session which included calling out each other for appreciation.

The last song leaving camp was “We want more!’

The teens camp is indeed an amazing undertaking. If we do not lead our kids right and according to God’s purpose – an entire generation loses focus.

Let’s stay the cause and make 2018 bigger, greater and better.
