In February 2025, a new ministry was launched in Nairobi with a special purpose: to support and uplift widows. Under the leadership of Nancy Pole from Kilifi, several sisters have joined the ministry, creating a powerful community centered on encouragement, prayer, and studying the Scriptures together. This new initiative provides a vital space for these women to find healing and a sense of belonging.

The ministry reached a significant milestone in August 2025 with their inaugural Widows’ Retreat. Sisters traveled from various parts of Kenya to the coast for this special event in Malindi. This retreat marked a major step forward, strengthening the bonds of sisterhood and offering a dedicated time for spiritual growth and mutual support.

Please keep this special ministry in your prayers as it continues to grow and serve as a beacon of hope and a healing space for these dear sisters.

Awesome move 👏🏾. Widows are in the heart of God and Scriptures call us to take care of them, otherwise, our religion is questionable (James 1:27).
