Open/Close Menu Making Disciples of All Nations

The disciples from East Africa region are gearing up for the largest single retreat ever held in the East African region with about 150 disciples expected to attend.

This retreat which will be the fourth after Naivasha(Kenya), Maasai Mara(Kenya) and Mbale (Uganda) will for the first time have disciples drawn from Tanzania churches –Dar es Salaam and Arusha, Juba in S. Sudan, Mombasa, Kisumu, Kampala, Bujumbura and Nairobi with about 100 disciples, all coming together at the Jumuiya Conference Centre in Mombasa, North Coast.

Speaking to the Media team, Bro. Charles Omollo who leads the shining stars (singles ministry) in Nairobi together with his wife – Josephine, stated that there will be a blend of cultural activities among other things on the activity menu.

Without divulging more details, he told the shining to prepare for a great time of fellowship, learning and just having a great time serving and praising God. He told the singles to pray for people’s hearts and for everyone who committed to be able to make it. The retreat starts on 1st to 3rd June.

The coastal city of Mombasa is one of Africa’s major tourist destinations; it is the gateway to East Africa with some of the best beaches in the world. Located on Kenya’s Eastern coastline bordering the Indian Ocean, Mombasa has become popular for its exotic beaches, diverse marine life, world-class hotels and friendly people. Besides it has many cultural attractive sites that the single will enjoy visiting as they have a retreat of their lifetime.
